I am really delighted to discover that I have been awarded this years Tyrone Guthrie Centre Bursary Award by The Mayo Arts Service.
The Tyrone Guthrie Centre is such a prestigious institution within the Irish cultural landscape and I am very honoured to have been awarded time and space there to begin an entirely new body of work and to meet other artists, writers and cultural practitioners. I am scheduled in to begin this residency during mid September where I will transition my practice from the psychology of wonder towards an exploration of dreams as a space of spontaneous creative emergence.
The Mayo Arts Service offers a special bursary annually to artists living and working in Mayo to spend one week at Tyrone Guthrie centre at Annaghmakerrig, Co. Monaghan. Workspace, board and lodging expenses will be provided for in the award.
I wanted to say a huge thanks to the Mayo Arts Service for all of their continued support over the years in the development of my practice from funding, to the acquisition of my work for their permanent collection and all the other opportunities, supports and conversations they have provided.
I cant wait to share what I dream up!

I am absolutely thrilled to be awarded a Mayo Artists Bursary for 2024. This award is dispensed by the Mayo Arts Service and aims to support individual Artists working in the county throughout all stages in their career.
I am truly proud to have my art practice recognised by the Mayo Arts Service and I am very grateful for the support of this wonderful organisation over the last nember of years through various awards and their purchase of some of my work which now reside in the Mayo County Council Permanent Collection.

Award Received: Arts Council Agility Award (Round 2) 2022 - The Arts Council of Ireland
I am absolutely thrilled with news that I have received The Arts Council Agility Award (Round 2) 2022 . This award is dispensed by the Arts Council of Ireland and aims to support individual Artists by allowing them to buy both the time and materials to undertake new and ambitious projects that would have not been otherwise realized.
I can’t wait to get to work on the secret project that I have planned, but more on this later. . .
For now I am just extremely proud to have my art practice recognised by the Arts Council of Ireland, and I am very grateful for the ongoing support of this wonderful organisation.
